Bhatni is a town in Deoria the eastern part of the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. It is located at 26.22°N 83.57°E, and has an average elevation of 57 meters.
Bhatni also known as Hatwa Bazar. Bhatni Bazar had a population of 14,381. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bhatni Bazar has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with a male literacy rate of 76% and a female literacy rate of 52%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age. There is a college up to intermediate standard called Subhash Intermediate College. A government Junior High School is located in Hatwa. Nooriganj is situated between chhoti gandak and bhatni raiway station. It is served by a rail route, as well as a national highway, which is located 8 km from town.
